CONTROL METHOD FOR NETWORK FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce communication cost and to properly distribute information by taking out a receiving information destination address, designated in advance from an address table, corresponding to transmission terminal identification information from an opposite terminal and transmitting a prescribed electronic mail. SOLUTION: A network facsimile equipment FX is provided with a table, which stores the mail address of a user and a distributing destination address, corresponding to transmission terminal identification information. When a call incomes from a public network PSTN, the equipment FX receives image information, and when a signal TSI includes distribution information, transfers received image information to a distribution destination designated from a transmission side by taking out the mail address of the destination, corresponding to distribution information from a distributing destination address table to prepare-add heater information of a destination electronic mail. By designating a receiving information destination and the user of a distributing destination by using a standard signal TSI such as this, a communicating period is reduced, and a user on a transmitting side properly selects a distribution mode.
