Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which has a heat sink which facilitates the reduction of inductance in a snubber circuit. SOLUTION: In portions defined by chain-dot lines on a heat sink 1, one GTO(gate turn-off thrystor) 3 and one snubber diode 4 are placed. Cooling water, supplied through one of taps 5, flows through a flow path 2 to cool the GTO 3 and the snubber diode 4. In the region of DGTO, above which the GTO 3 is attached, and the region of DDS above which the snubber diode 4 is attached, the forward flow paths and the backward flow paths are alternately arranged, and the centers of the whirlpools of the flow path are approximately aligned with the respective attachment centers of the semiconductor devices. Further, the distance between the centers of the GTO 3 and the snubber diode 4 is so designed as to be as small as possible within a range, sufficient enough to satisfy the insulation requirements. |
