PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely judge and position a process cartridge, which is stored in the storage part of the main body of an image forming device, by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the image forming device 100, the cover 108 of the storage part 104 has a press member 118 in a specific position. On the other hand, in the top of the process cartridge 130 which is stored in the storage part 104, a press groove 136 is provided, and, in the specific part of it is a projection 138. Therefore, only in the case the process cartridge 130 which matches the main body 102 is stored in the storage part 104, the press member 118 contacts, when a cover 108 is closed, the projection 138 of the press groove 136 of the process cartridge 130, and guides the process cartridge 130 to a specific position along a guide, thereby positioning it.
