HUMIDIFIER AND HUMIDIFYING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a spontaneous evaporation type humidifier of a multilayer structure. SOLUTION: In a spontaneous evaporation type humidifier 1 which forms a hexahedral body of a multilayer structure wherein an air sending layer 3 passing air to be treated and a water retaining layer 4 formed of a flat water leading body constituted of a humidity-permeable membrane are constructed alternately, and wherein inlet-outlet ends of the air sending layer 3 open in two opposite sides while four other sides including the opposite lateral sides are closed up by an outer casing structure 10, a water supply port 18 for supplying water to the water leading body is provided on the side of the surface of the outer casing structure 10 which constitutes one lateral side of the humidifier and wherein the inlet-outlet end of the air sending layer 3 opens. A reception-side connection structure 20 is provided on one lateral side, while a connection structure 16 having a function of connecting with the reception-side connection structure 20 is provided on the other lateral side, so that the humidifiers 1 can be connected with each other in a line.
