Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backing sheet for pavement, laid between a bridge body and a pavement in a bridge for a highway or an ordinary road, which can be easily laid at the construction site arid securely allows the sliding movement between the bridge body and the pavement. SOLUTION: A base material layer 2 made of a flexible asphalt material to form a long belt, with a specified width and a film-form slide material 1 with a wider width than the base material layer 2, are stuck on each other. And the belt-form member 4 is stuck on one side edge of the slide material 1 projected from the base material layer 2 so as to be arranged in parallel to the base material layer 2. The belt-form member 4 is made of a flexibly deformable heat-resistant material. When the backing sheet for pavement is laid in a spacious range, the belt-form member 4 is stuck on both of superposed slide materials 1 to prevent the asphalt material from flowing out of the joints of the sheets, by superposing and laying the stuck part of the belt-form member 4.
