HAIR COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cosmetic giving tension and stiffness to hair, excellent in shampoo resistance and good in compatibility with the hair by including a specific resin and a nonionic silicone and/or a nonionic surfactant. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic comprises (A) 0.01-7 wt.% of a polyamide epichlorohydrin resin of formula I [R , R are each a 2-4C alkyl; (k) is 2-170] (as an active ingredient), (B) 0.01-5 wt.% of (i) a nonionic silicone, preferably a silicone of formula II (R is H, a 1-6C alkyl; (m) is 5-60; (n) is 1-10; (l) is 2-13], and/or (ii) a nonionic surfactant, preferably a compound of the formula: R O(CH2 CH2 O)q H [R is a 8-22C hydrocarbon; (q) is 1-150], and, if necessary, (C) a higher alcohol, a hydrocarbon, an ester oil, a vegetable oil, a cellulose derivative, a cationized polymer, a cationized activator, a nonionic polymer, a polypeptide, a humidity-retaining agent, a pH-controlling agent, a coloring agent, a perfume, etc.
