Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the reduction of the tensile strength of a suturing material, shorten the absorption time, and strictly adjust the absorbing characteristic of the suturing material, by performing the incubation at a temperature of a specific range, for a specific time in the hydrolysis buffer solution having a pH index of a specific range. SOLUTION: A surgical suturing material is incubated in a hydrolysis buffer solution of 4-10 of pH index at 30-65 deg.C for 10-100 hours. This hydrolyzing process acts on a molecular structure of the suturing material, and the suturing material can be rapidly decomposed in a test tube or in an organisum. In the suturing material manufactured by this method, and made of, for example, polyglactin, the tensile strength in the organism after about 5 days from the transplantation, is reduced to be about 10% to 90 % of the initial one. Further after about 14 days, it is reduced to be about 0% to about 30%. Further the absorption time is about 35 days. Whereby the reduction of the tensile strength can be accelerated, and the absorption time can be shortened. |
