Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject powdery wool that substantially retains the intrinsic characteristics of wool, as it is. SOLUTION: Wool stable fibers (preferably 3-0.25 mm long) are fibrillated by wet-milling in a ball mill (the balls used in the milling are made of stainless steel or steel and has a diameter of 5-15 mm), dried and pulverized with a hammer mill thereby giving the objective powdery wool with particle sizes of 200-5 μm. In a preferred embodiment, the resultant powdery wool fibers are further dry-milled in a ball mill to give the objective powder of 120-2 μm particle sizes. |
