Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an impact-modifying thermoplastic material continuously by mixing a graft polymer of an elastomer obtained by graft polymerization and having a specified moisture content with a melted thermoplastic material to effect the evaporation of the moisture, the melting of the elastomer, the formation of the melted mixture into a compound and the removal of the volatile organic component. SOLUTION: An elastomer surrounded with a shell of a thermoplastic material A by graft polymerization, especially an elastomer obtained by dehydrating a graft polymer precipitated from a latex to a residual moisture content of 1-50 wt.% is mixed with a melted thermoplastic material B in a kneader reactor to effect the evaporation of the moisture contained in the elastomer, the melting of the elastomer, the formation of a compound from the elastomer and the melted material B and the removal of volatile organic component comprising residual monomers and a solvent to obtain an elastomer-modified thermoplastic material. The mixing ratio of the material B to the elastomer is desirably 1/4 to 4/1. |
