PRINT DENSITY REGULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print density regulator in which ink supply can be controlled directly by regulating an ink unit through opening regulation of opening degree of an ink regulation key, or the like. SOLUTION: In the ink density processing process, a data processor 5 sets a target ink film pressure on an ink roller 7. An operating means 2 is then actuated in order to measure the ink film pressure at a specified position on the ink roller 7 and a detection head 1 is moved in the direction parallel with the axis of the ink roller 7 in order to detect a state amount related to the ink film pressure at the specified position. Upon finishing detection over the entire range, target values and measurements are displayed graphically on a display means of the data processor 5 and an operating amount is operated by a control means 4 by comparing the measurements with target values. The operating amount is inputted to the remote controller in an ink unit in order to correct the setting thereof. The ink film pressure on the ink roller 7 is controlled to be matched with a target level through the processing process.
