PARALLEL PROCESSING METHOD OF OBJECT SELECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an object selection processing at high speed without consciousness at a host side by providing mechanism for managing an address in a hardware at the time of access from plural geometry arithmetic processing parats. SOLUTION: A system is constituted of host CPU 100, a command distributing part 200, geometry arithmetic processing interface parts 300-1 and 300-2, the geometry arithmetic processing parts 305-1 and 305-2 and a plotting processing part 318. Pick hit judgement is processed in parallel in the plural geometry arithmetic processing parts 305-1 and 305-2 and address management for enabling access from the plural geometry arithmetic processing parts 305-1 and 305-2 is executed by the hardware. A register which can be freely set by host CPU 100 is provided and a function for comparing the setting value of the register with the value of a pick hit data storing address register one by one and for executing interruption as against a host at the time of the coincidence of a comparison result is provided.
