PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately stop a sheet on a specified position by changing time from the detection of a sheet passing detecting means to the stopping of a sheet moving means on a loading means for re-supply in accordance with sheet carrying time by means of a control means. SOLUTION: A first sheet carried by a U-turn roller 74 is discharged on a baseplate 76. Side guides 80a and 80b move till the guides reach sheet width. An arm solenoid 89 is turned off a fixed time after the trailing edge of the sheet passes over a both-side mode sensor 112, and a carrying roller 71 falls on the sheet, interposes and stops the sheet with the baseplate 76. The roller 71 is driven to carry the sheet toward a shutter 93. The sheet is disengaged from a pressure lever 94, interposed between a movable sheet guide 104 and the baseplate 76, and detected by a tray sensor 110 in the middle. Then, a timer 2 is started, a clutch is turned off and the roller 71 stops after a specified time, and the sheet abuts on the shutter 93 and stops.
