Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystal display device with a good yield and a high productivity by devising arrangement of sealants in the vicinity of a liquid crystal injection hole. SOLUTION: In the method for producing liquid crystal display device in which the liquid crystal is intruded between a first transparent substrate 1 and a second transparent substrate 2, when the first transparent substrate 1 and the second transparent substrate 2 are stuck together by using the sealant, the liquid crystal injection hole CH is disposed at the corner of the long side of a rectangular display part, a main seal pattern S1 and a subseal pattern S2 are arranged so that the liquid crystal injected from the injection hole CH advances from a nondisplay region to a display region. Further, at the time of forming the patterns, the subseal pattern S2 is formed by being isolated from the main seal pattern S1. The subseal pattern S2 is spread and is linked with the main seal pattern S1 at the time of assembling and press-fitting.
