Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump that reduces an extent of horsepower consumption, and also to heighten the occurrence limitation of cavitation through an improvement in suction efficiency, and further to have pumping efficiency so improved enough. SOLUTION: Two pump cases to be formed in space between a cam ring of a vane pump and a rotor are always divided into a main pump case 36a and a sub pump case 36b supplying discharge oil at all times, and a selector control valve 50 to be driven by a control means is installed in the point midway in a discharge oil path 9b leading to a discharge port 25b of the sub pump case 36b, and thereby a reflux oil path 5 bifurcately extended from this selector control valve 50 is interconnected to two suction ports 14a and 24a of the main pump case 36a, so that excess oil can be made to flow back.
