Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst capable of preparing unsaturaed aldehyde and unsaturated carboxylic acid each at high yield by gas-phase catalytic oxidation of propylene, isobutylene, tertiary butyl alcohol or methyl tertiary butyl ether by using molecular oxygen. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a molded catalyst containing at least molybdenum, bismuth, and iron and used for preparing unsaturated aldehyde and unsaturated carboxylic acid corresponding to the following compounds by gas-phase catalytic oxidation of propylene, isobutylene, tertiary butyl alcohol or methyl tertiary butyl ether by using molecular oxygen, sintered catalytic particles having means crash strength of 0.5 gf or more is used for molding.
