Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce friction torque of a seal ring of which outer peripheral face comes into contact with a mating member and one side face comes into contact with a side wall face of a ring groove and improve seal characteristic by forming the seal ring by a resin material and forming projection and recessed parts by granulated powders of resin containing filler on a side face which comes into contact with the side wall face of the ring groove. SOLUTION: A solid lubrication material having grain diameter of about 20μm such as carbon powder is added to tetrafluorethyelene resin (PTFE resin) which shows the minimum friction coefficient to prepare granulated powders of PTFE resin containing filler which has grain diameter of 100 to 1000μm. The granulated powders of PTFE resin containing filler are press-molded to form a seal ring 12 in which projection and recessed parts of the granulated powders are provided at the depth of 5 to 50μm on a face of the seal ring. This seal ring 12 is mounted in an annular seal ring groove 11 formed on one side of peripheral faces which oppose mutually of a housing 3 which surrounds a shaft member 2 and the seal ring 12. When it receives oil pressure, both seal side faces 12a, 11a of the seal ring 12 and the seal ring groove 11 are brought into pressure-contact to perform sealing.
