SHIFT DEVICE FOR GEAR TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembly by forming a frame which is closed together with both support brackets and a horizontal member by a shift case body and holding a shift bar and a shift oscillation piece by this frame. SOLUTION: Two beamlike support brackets 28, 29 provided on both sides of slide shift sleeves 20, 56 in the direction of the length of a gear shaft are provided in a shaft case 17, and the support brackets 28, 29 are connected mutually by a beamlike horizontal member 30 between shift oscillation pieces 22 in such a manner that they are fixed to constitute a frame having the closed shape. Support pieces 31, 32 which are in the shape of bearing ring, respectively, are formed with respect to opposing end parts of the support brackets 28, 29 in a transmission case part on input side of the transmission case, and guide pins 33, 34 which correspond to each support bracket 28, 29 are guided by these support pieces 31, 32 in such a manner that they can slide freely in the axial direction. Each slide shift sleeve 20, 56 is provided through two slide pieces in such a manner that the slide shift sleeves 20, 56 can slide and be operated in the axial direction by a shift fork 21.
