BRAKE CHARACTERISTICS EVALUATION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake characteristics evaluation device which can conduct characteristics evaluation easily and exactly for higher efficiency of maintenance work. SOLUTION: This characteristics evaluation device is provided with a speed detector 9 which detects the running speed of a car, a current detector 10 which detects driving current passing through a brake 8, a storage means 11 which stores the running speed and driving current, a calculating means 12 which reads out data stored in the storage means 11 and calculates the deceleration of the car 1 and the driving current at the time of operating the brake 8, and a discriminating means 13 which compares the calculated results of the calculating means 12 with a preset standard value and discriminates whether it is good or not.
