Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound, comprising a hapten compound of imazalil and useful for the production, etc., of an antibody useful for the measurement, etc., of the amount of the residual agrochemical imazalil capable of manifesting a wide range of effects on disease injuries to fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants, etc., such as powdery mildew or black spot. SOLUTION: This new hapten compound has a structure represented by formula I [(n) is an integer of 1-10] and is 1-(β-allyloxy-2,4-dichlorophenethyl)imidazole (imazalil) represented by formula II. The compound is used for the preparation, etc., of an antigen for producing an antibody or its fragment capable of manifesting the reactivity with the imazalil useful for the immunological measurement, etc., of the amount of the residual agrochemical imazalil capable of manifesting effects on a wide range of disease injuries to fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants, etc., such as powdery mildew or black spot by binding thereof to a polymer. The compound is obtained by reacting an imidazole compound represented by formula III with a compound represented by formula IV (Q is a protecting group of carboxyl group; X is a halogen) in the presence of a base in a solvent such as tetrahydrofuran and then removing the protecting group.
