Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a coefficient of use for active material and prevent a nickel sintered substrate from being corroded by a method wherein the nickel sintered substrate is dried after dipping in acidic nickel salt solution with lithium salt added, and a series of active material filling operations to convert the nickel salt mentioned above into nickel hydroxide in alkali aqueous solution is repeated for plural times. SOLUTION: When a sintered substrate which is impregnated with nickel nitrate aqueous solution with lithium nitrite added is neutralized by dipping in alkali aqueous solution, lithium enters a nickel hydroxide lattice, and thereby a lattice defect is produced. Since nickel hydroxide for active material becomes NiOOH, and shows an n type semiconductor property, a proton hole is produced by an increase of the lattice defect, so that proton dispersion is enhanced and discharge performance is also enhanced. Since lithium in a positive electrode plate is not dispersed in electrolyte, coefficient of use for active material is enhanced without causing reduction of a discharge voltage. |
