Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide the vehicles on a highway, etc., the painting job of a center line on a paved road, etc., a snow removal vehicle, a tractor in a paddy field, etc. SOLUTION: This guiding method uses an electromagnetic wave generation means which is mounted on a mobile object and generates an electromagnetic wave having the directivity in the direction vertical to the ground surface, a guide line consisting of an information display producing a signal having directivity which is continuously buried in the ground and responds by the electromagnetic induction of the electromagnetic wave that is generated by the electromagnetic wave generation means, and a recognition means which is mounted on the mobile object to detect the signal produced by the display and to recognize each output signal. Then the guide line or the shift from the guide line is recognized based on the signal output value generated by the information display, and the mobile object is guided based on the information on the traveling direction of the mobile object.
