VOLUME REDUCTION TREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is low in equipment and running costs, is high in treatment speed, is safe, allows clean operation and is free from environmental problems to the ambient. SOLUTION: This volume reduction treating device 1 is constituted by rotatably providing a treating tank 2 in which the solvent for objects to be treated is packed with a revolving shaft and fixing plural sheets of rotary blades 10 to this revolving shaft. Plural sheets of stationary blades 12 are fixed to the treating tank 2 in the position at the same height as the height of the revolving shaft or slightly lower than the same. These stationary blades 12 are partly positioned within the radius of rotation of the rotary blades 10. The relative heights of the rotary blades 10 to the liquid level are so adjusted that the rotary blades 10 are at least partly immersed into the solvent at the time of rotation and at least >=1/3 of the diameter of the rotary blades 10 exists upper than the liquid level. The objects to be treated charged into the treating tank 2 are withdrawn into the solvent by the rotary blades 10 and are crushed by the cooperation of the rotary blades 10 and the stationary blades 12. The materials are gradually dissolved by the effect of the solvent.
