SMALLER CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a smaller oxygen cylinder which allows a user to open a valve mechanism for inhalation by intensely biting a gas takeoff part of the body of a cylinder once held in his mouth and moreover, by making the biting possible from any direction on the perimeter of the outer circumference of the takeoff part. SOLUTION: The body 3 of a cylinder for housing compressed oxygen is provided with a valve body 4 which is fitted with a valve cover 11 one end of which has a path 4a adapted to make the inside of the body 3 of the cylinder communicate with outside while allowing a user to take it in his month. The path 4a is provided with a valve mechanism B which is normally energized to be closed. The valve mechanism is opened at any time by intensely biting between a fixed cam body 13 having a spherical surface 13a and a disc-shaped mobile cam body 14 from any desired direction on the perimeter of the outer circumference of the valve body 4 with the valve cover 11 held in the user's mouth.
