SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD FOR DIGITAL STILL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the entire processing time by writing audio data into a VRAM in parallel with writing of video data into a flash memory and writing the audio data in the VRAM into the flash memory later. SOLUTION: When a shutter button 40 is pressed, the video data outputted from a 1st signal processing circuit 20 are temporarily held in a VRAM 56 and written into a flash memory 38 by a CPU 28 later. In parallel with the writing of video data into the flash memory 38, the audio data for 6sec outputted from a register 30 are written into the VARM 56 by the CPU 28. When the write of audio data is completed, the CPU 28 compresses these audio data and writes them into the flash memory 38.
