Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid defective charging from being caused in a slave set charging battery due to improper contact between charging terminals of a slave set and a charging base in the charger of the cordless telephone set. SOLUTION: In the case that a slave set 6 is not correctly set to a charging base 2, contact between slave set side charging terminals 8, 9 and supply side charging terminals 4, 5 is improper, no charging is applied to a charging battery of the slave set 6 and the slave set 6 shuts a light emitted from a light emitting diode. In this case, no light receiving signal is outputted from a light receiving circuit and no current detection signal rises, an output is raised from an AND circuit and a speaker output circuit generates a warning tone.
