OPTICAL RECORDING INSPECTION DISK AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording inspection disk having uniform and high-accuracy light shielding patterns as an optical recording inspection disk for evaluating a DRAW type or reloadable optical disk drive device and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: The optical disk is constituted by laminating a recording layer 2 which reacts with light, a reflection layer 3 and a protective film 4 on the one surface of a transparent substrate 1. A metallic light shielding film 5 and in succession a photoresist layer 6 are formed on the other surface of this transparent substrate 1. The resin patterns are formed by photolithography. With these resin patterns as a mask, the metallic light shielding film 5 is etched, by which the optical recording inspection disk having the desired uniform and high-accuracy pseudo fingerprint patterns is produced.
