ELECTRONIC BALANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily assemble the wind shield of an electronic balance and, at the same time, not to provide any obstructive column in a weighing chamber. SOLUTION: A lower plate 3, an upper plate 4, a front plate 5, and a rear plate 6 are installed so as to surround a weighing pan 2 protruded from the man body 1 of the electronic balance. The skeleton of a weighting chamber is formed by holding the front and rear plates 5 and 6 between the upper and lower plates 4 and 3 by pulling the plates 4 and 3 toward each other by means of a connecting bar 8 installed to the outside of the rear plate 6. A side plate 7 slides along a groove formed bestrewn the upper and lower plates 4 and 3 so as to be a sliding door of the weighing chamber and sample are put in and taken out from the weighing chamber through the opening formed when the sliding door is slid.
