CLEANER AND CLEANING METHOD FOR CAR AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a cleaner against damage due to detergent intruding into the fan side by cleaning a car air-conditioner while applying a bubbling detergent to an evaporator by driving a fan and injecting the detergent through a wind path opening to the exhaust side of the fan and conducting cooling wind. SOLUTION: At the time of cleaning the evaporator EV of an air-conditioner AC, a connector 4 is inserted, at first, into the mouth of a wind path PT and coupled with a liquid supply hose 2 while a connector 5 is inserted into a drain path DR and coupled with a liquid discharge hose 2. Under a state where a fan FN is driven at a specified flow rate, solenoid valves 14, 16 are opened and a pump 12 is driven to inject bubbling detergent into the wind path PT. When the evaporator EV is filled with the bubbling detergent, air supply from the fan FN is interrupted and when the current of a fan motor MT detected by a current sensor 23 drops to a specified level, the pump 12 is stopped. Subsequently, a suction fan 19 is driven to such the detergent from the drain path DR and collect the drain path DR in a waste liquid container 17.
