CLEANER FOR DRAIN PAN OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically clean a drain pan and always maintain a clean state. SOLUTION: The timer 30 of a controller 10 operates for a prescribed time and outputs a signal of high level after an air conditioner stops its operation based on an operating signal S for representing the operating state of a fan which constitutes the air conditioner. Thus, a switch means 32 composed of a relay is turned on to supply power to a motor. As a result, a pump is driven, water is supplied to a nozzle 6 through pipings 26 and 20 from a water feed device 28, and water is jetted toward the upper surface of a drain pan 4 from the nozzle 6, so that the drain pan 4 is cleaned. Accordingly, every time the air conditioner stops its operation, the drain pan 4 is automatically cleaned and its clean state is always maintained.
