SYNTHESIZER FOR VIDEO SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize the television video of plural objects that are separately photographed as if they are simultaneously photographed by assigning a correspondence number to each of a video signal of plural input terminals and plural video signals to be synthesized, parallelly recording them and editing and reproducing correspondence numbers in time sequence according to operations. SOLUTION: A switching device SWa includes M pieces (M is an integer that is >=1) of input terminals of a video signal. Memory units 21 to 2n and 41 to 4n assign a correspondence number to each frame of a video signal of N channels (N is an integer) to be synthesized and parallelly store them. A video synthesizing part 5 reproduces video signals of >=2 channels which are stored in the units 41 to 4n as synthetic video on a display part 6. A video processing part 3 synchronizes a video signal of an input terminal that is included in the device SWa with the part 5 and stores it in the unit 41 to 4n . An operator console 7 edits correspondence numbers in time sequence according to operations and reproduces them.
