COLLECTING PIPE JOINT AND DRAIN PIPING STRUCTURE OF MULTISTORY BUILDING USING COLLECTING PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent enlargement of piping space of a lateral branch pipe in case a vertical drain pipe cannot be disposed piercing vertically due to room layout by using a collecting pipe joint for connecting the lateral branch pipe to the vertical drain pipe disposed below, in T-shape. SOLUTION: Lateral branch pipes 91, 71 are connected to lateral pipelines 3a, 3b of a collecting pipe joint 1, and a vertical drain pipe 8 is connected to a small diameter part 22 below so as to be connected in T-shape. A vertical drain pipe 7 of an upper floor is connected to the lateral branch pipe 71. The upper end of the collecting pipe joint 1 is closed and made to coincide with the upper ends of the lateral pipelines 3a, 3b. A spiral blade is provided at the inner surface of a contracted diameter part between the lateral pipelines 3a, 3b and the small diameter part 22 so as to make drain from the lateral branch pipes 91, 71 flow down as spiral flow to the small diameter part 22. In case the vertical drain pipes 7, 8 cannot be piercingly disposed due to room layout of each floor, the vertical drain pipe 7 of the upper floor is connected to the lateral branch pipe 71 using the collecting pipe joint 1. Piping space 9 between the floor 52 of the upper floor 5 and the ceiling 62 of the lower floor 6 can thereby be made almost the same as other piping space 9'.
