Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ceramic aggregate grains having the whole indeterminate appearance shape of a nearly polyhedron or a nearly convex polyhedron and all of the respective rounded sides and apices of the polyhedron (without being sharply pointed) and uneven rough surfaces of the respective faces, and by the method defectives of ceramics and industrial waste materials are effectively utilized in order to maintain the protection of natural environments and water absorption coefficient or color tone can wholly be controlled. SOLUTION: The ceramic aggregate grains having the whole indeterminate appearance shape of a nearly polyhedron or a nearly convex polyhedron, the respective rounded sides and apices of the polyhedron (without being sharply pointed) and uneven rough surfaces of the respective faces are produced. Water is especially added to mix or knead the respective raw materials and the resultant kneaded material is formed. The prepared formed material is pulverized and the pulverized material is sieved to afford an indeterminate nearly polyhedral or a convex polyhedral shape having a grain size within a desired prescribed range, which is then baked.
