Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically realize narrow-band communication between a combined narrow-head ATM terminal and a conventional terminal by means of simple configuration by extracting the subscriber number of a time division exchange network from an incoming destination ATM address which is received from an ATM network. SOLUTION: A user information cell converting means 10 assembles user information of n×64Kbps to be a cell and disassembles the cell into user information of a 64Kbps units. An inter-ATM station signal cell converting means 11 assembles inter-station signal information between ATM exchanges to be the cell and disassembles the cell into inter-station signal information. An ATM- line interface means 12 multiplex-separates the two kinds of cells and permits them to be interfed with the ATM network. A subscriber number/ATM address conversion table 14 indexes an incoming destination ATM address by the address system of the ATM network, from a caller destination subscriber number by number system of the time division exchange network. Then, an ATM address-analyzing means 15 extracts the subscriber number of the time division exchange from the incoming destination ATM address which is received from the ATM network. |
