Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain yellow images of superior gradation and considerably high color density through thermal transfer recording, and enhance color reproducibility and storage stability of recorded images, i.e., weather resistance and light resistance, etc., by layering on a supporting body a color material layer containing a yellow coloring matter to be expressed by a specific general formula. SOLUTION: A color material layer containing a yellow coloring matter expressed by a formula wherein R1 , R2 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group independently is layered on a supporting body, thereby forming a heat-sensitive transfer sheet. Specifically, the yellow coloring matter expressed by the formula is dissolved or dispersed to fine particles in a medium along with a binder, thereby preparing a yellow ink. The ink is then applied and dried on the sheet-like supporting body sch as a film, a paper, etc., so that the yellow heat-sensitive transfer sheet is formed. The supporting body is preferably a condenser paper, a plastic film, etc., and is preferably about 3-50μm thick. |
