Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel strip where hot-rolled scale is uniformly removed by driving brush rolls under proper conditions. SOLUTION: A hot rolled steel strip 1 to which the hot-rolled scale is stuck is rolled at high draft with a cold rolling mill 4 and the hot-rolled scale on the surface of the steel strip after rolling is removed with the brush rolls 5. At this time, a photodetector 10 is arranged on the downstream side of the brush rolls 5, the amount of the remaining hot-rolled scale and/or the distributed state are calculated from the surface condition of the hot rolled steel strip 1 which is observed with the photodetector 10 with arithmetic processing mechanism 11 and the pressing force and/or the number of revolution of the brush rolls 5 are controlled based on the calculated results. In this way, because brushing conditions are adjusted in accordance with the amount and distribution of the remaining scale, the brush rolls 5 are not slid and scrubbed on the surface of the steel strip excessively and the hot-rolled scale is uniformely removed from the surface of the steel strip. |
