SELF-ADJUSTING/-HEATING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adjusting/-heating element improved in the uniformity of a surface temp., with simple structure, at a low cost. SOLUTION: The self-adjusting/-heating element is made of a material having a temperature/resistivity curve with a positive inclination region and provided with an electrical heating element 32 having a first surface and a second surface located on a side opposite to the first surface, a first electrode 31 disposed on the first surface and a second electrode 33 disposed on the second surface. A voltage is applied to between the first and second electrodes 31 and 33, so that heat energy flows in a heat load through the second electrode 33.
