Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the temperature of lubrication oil and to easily treat cooling air by forming the cooling air passages passing from the lower part to the upper part of the cooling fan of a cylinder block in an air-cooled engine having the cooling air passages passing from the cooling fan side to the side opposite to the cooling fan on the cylinder liner. SOLUTION: Cooling air passages 11, 12, 15 passing form a cooling fan side to the side opposite to the cooling fan are formed around the cooling fan of a cylinder block 1 and around the cylinder liner at the upper part of the cylinder block 1 and a L-shaped cooling air passage or groove 14 passing from the lower side to the upper side is formed at the cooling fan side of the cylinder block 1. This constitution makes smooth flow of the cooling air around the cooling fan and increases the surface area of the cylinder block 1 which the cooling air contracts to reduce an increase in temperature of lubrication oil. Further, the exit of the groove 14 is concentrated on one direction and arranged to merge with the cooling air passages 11, 12, 15 and to make an outlet treatment of the cooling air easy. |
