DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING AND CARRYING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a film by sticking the film by suction to a first holding member which is held by a sucking and holding means by suction and mounting the first holding means on a second holding means so that the film can be held between the holding means, and then, uniting the holding members in one body and carrying the united body to a next process. SOLUTION: A platen 9 is composed of a platen lid 11 which is constituted as a first holding member and a platen base 10 which is constituted as a second holding member. The lid 11 has a plurality of film sucking holes 11E and 12E. A sucking and holding means is provided with a platen lid sucking means and a film sucking means. The sucking and holding means is moved to stick the lid 11 by suction and stick a film by suction through the holes 11E and 12B. After the sucking and holding means is moved while the means holds the lid 11 and film and the platen lid 11 and film are mounted on the platen base 10 so that the film can be held between the lid 11 and base 10, the lid 11 and base 10 are united in one body. Then the united platen 9 is carried to the film carrying-in position of a next process.
