SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge an engine room and a passenger compartment, lighten the weight of a vehicle body, and obtain also high operating stability. SOLUTION: A vehicle suspension device 1 which supports a road wheel 6 allowing for its vertical movement against a vehicle body, consists of a wheel support 7 on which the road wheel 6 pivots on, leaf springs 9 mounted in fore and aft directions on the vehicle body and capable of deforming vertically against it, an upper arm 3 secured to the vehicle body rocking-free in vertical direction at one end, with the other end secured rocking-free to the upper end of the wheel support 7, a lower arm 12 secured to the leaf springs 9 rocking-free in vertical direction at one end, with the other end secured rocking-free to the lower end of the wheel support 7, and a rod 15 one end of which is connected to the leaf spring 9 and the other end connected to the upper arm 3.
