Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treatment unit capable of performing aeration linked with inflow of sewage and appropriately performing filtration in a membrane device. SOLUTION: A transmission liquid pipe 32 communicated with a membrane transmission side of a membrane cartridge 29 is arranged in a reverse U shape whose top part 32a is positioned at the level higher than a water level at a normal operation and the end part 32b is opened under the atmosphere at the same height position as the upper end of the membrane cartridge 29 at the outside of the tank. After the filtration is once stopped, the filtration is immediately not started even though the sewage 38 flows in, and when a liquid level of the aeration tank is over the top part 32a of the transmission liquid pipe 32, the filtration is restarted, thus the aeration device 27 is may be stopped during that time.
