SOLUTION: In this method for washing a cement based member for eliminating NOx , an aq. soln. containing at least one kind selected among a hydroxide of alkali metal, a hydroxide, carbonate, bicarbonate of alkali earth metal or a salt of a weak acid is used as a washing liq., Ca(OH)2 , Na2 CO3 and NaHCO3 are used as a component in the aq. soln., and sodium oxalate is used as the salt of the weak acid. Moreover, a surfactant may be incorporated in the washing liq.
