PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously supply plural images exceeding the number of channel resources included in a single transmission medium by the use of plural transmission media by providing the video transmission device with a switch means for selecting and outputting one or plural of video information outputted from a video information receiving means. SOLUTION: When video display of a camera 106-c2 is requested by a video display means 104, a video display request means 105 instructs a video information receiving means 102-c capable of receiving video information from a transmission medium 101-c to which images are sent from the camera 106-c2 to be displayed to receive the video information of a channel 7 sent from the target camera 106-c2. The means 102-c starts the reception of the information and outputs the received information to a switcher means 103. The means 105 instructs the means 103 to select video information outputted from the means 102-c. The means 103 selects the video information from the means 102-c and outputs the selected information to the means 104.
