Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the device which is applied to a flat or low-curvature panel having a small interval between a panel and a bezel without using a wedgelike transducer and can detect position by combining a bulk generating means and a sound wave generating means together. SOLUTION: When an electric signal is supplied to piezoelectric vibrators 4a and 4b, a bulk wave is generated by the vibration of the piezoelectric vibrators 4a and 4b, converted into a sound wave (surface acoustic wave, etc.) by sound wave transducing media 5a and 5b in a transmission area, and the sound wave is propagated by reflection arrays 6a and 6b along an X axis and a Y axis through plural paths in a display area 2. When a display area 2 is touched with a pen etc., the sound wave is disturbed and the sound wave including a disturbance components is converged on a reception area by reflection arrays 7a and 7b. In the reception area, the sound wave is transduced into a bulk wave by sound wave transducing media 8a and 8b and transduced into an electric signal by piezoelectric vibrators 10a and 10b.
