ULTRASONIC TESTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic testing device capable of performing tests without the use of a hand held scanner. SOLUTION: A sweep timer 32 outputs sweep pulses to a marker generator 31 and a coordinate transformation control part 301 via a sweep gate 34 which is opened by instructions from a sweep control switch 33. The address of a frame memory 302 corresponding to the display screen of an image displaying part 14 is sequentially shifted one by one every time a sweep pulse is outputted. Every time it is shifted, the marker generator 31 writes marker data, and the coordinate transformation control part 301 writes data that an array probe 2 obtains by sectorally performing electronic scanning on an object to be tested 20 in the frame memory 302 in the state that the gate switch 36 and gating circuit 35 are ON and it is displayed. When an inspecter moves the array probe 2 on the surface of the object to be tested 20 in accordance with the movement of a marker on the display screen, ultrasonic data at the point of movement is sampled in the frame memory 302.
