HANGER RAIL OF DOOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a hanger rail of a door device by providing and caulking a clamping part for clamping a rail member between itself and a rail base so as to fix the same. SOLUTION: A hanger rail 1 for a door device, is composed of a rail base 2 laid in the upper part of an opening, and a rail member 3 made of a material which is harder than that of the rail base 2 and carrying thereon a door wheel 20 rolling thereon. The rail base 2 incorporates a clamping part 12 for clamping and fixing the rail member 3 between itself and the rail base 2, the clamping part 12 being caulked so as to secure the rail member 3. The rail base 2 incorporates a base surface 11 extending longitudinally, and a pair of protrusions 13, 14 extended on opposite sides of the base surface 11 constitute the clamping parts 12. After the rail member 3 is laid on the base surface 11, at least one of the protrusions 13, 14 is caulked so as to exert a clamping force by the pair of protrusions 13, 14 and a force for pressing the rail member 3 against the base surface 11 of the rail base 2 to the rail member 3. Longitudinally extending recesses 16, 17 are formed in opposite side surfaces of the rail member 3 so as to provide a constriction part 15. At least one of the pair of protrusions 13, 14 is caulked toward the constriction part 15.
