ROOF REPAIRING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay a novel metallic roof material on an existing batten steam roof material covered therewith without falling of construction chip, dust, and refuse in a building. SOLUTION: A stepped part 513 is formed at an intermediate part between side walls formed approximately in a U-shape in cross section and positioned facing each other. A clamp metal fitting 5 comprising a frame of a metallic sheet having two leg ends 512 folded to the inside, a bolt 52, and a nut 53 is used. The clamp metal fitting 5 is arranged astride a batten beam part 10 of an existing batten beam roof material 1. A nut 53 is fastened against a bolt 52 extending through two side walls, the batten beam part 10 is securely fixed by nipping the batten beam from two sides between the two leg ends 512, and a crest part 21 of a novel metallic plate roof material 2 is securely fastened against the top surface of the clamp metal fitting 5 by means of a screw.
