LANCE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING STUCK METAL IN FURNACE USING THE LANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance which displays the effect even to the stickness of metal in the whole range in a furnace in good efficiency. SOLUTION: This lance 1 can execute pretreatment at the time of pretreating iron and at the same time, remove the stuck metal in a converter. At the tip part of the lance 1, Laval main nozzle 2 for refining and straight auxiliary nozzles 3 for promoting secondary combustion, are arranged. Then, on the upper position side surface having a prescribed interval from the tip part, sub- nozzles 6 having 1-15mm diameter, are arranged at -45 deg. to +70 deg. angle to the horizontal plural plane. The metal stuck and deposited to the whole zone in the wall surface in the furnace can efficiently be melted down while executing the preheating treatment and the pouring of the molten iron is facilitated and also, the yield is improved.
