PAPER AFTER-TREATMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a paper bundle to exhaust onto a loading tray in the condition being arranged beautifully, even though the friction coefficient between papers is small. SOLUTION: A paper bundle 29 loaded on an editing tray is pressed by the pinch rolls 32 provided at the tips of leaf springs 33 which are lowered against springs 38. The side of the paper bundle 29 is arranged beautifully by paper conforming-cum-side exhaust members 1a and 1b. When the paper bundle 29 is exhausted on a loading tray, a set exhaust roller at the lower side of the paper bundle 29 is rotated, and the paper conforming-cum-side exhaust members 1a and 1b are rotated in the direction of arrow. As a result, the paper conforming-cum-side exhaust members 1a and 1b assist the exhaust of the paper bundle 29, and the paper bundle 29 can be exhausted in the condition arranging beautifully, even though the friction coefficient between papers is small.
