Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and reliably perform smooth and efficient operation of a process by a method wherein raw woods piled mountain-high in heaps are delivered one by one to a raw wood peeling process and a raw wood cutting process with an accurate gap between the adjoining woods. SOLUTION: An intermittent transferring device for raw woods comprises a raw wood carry-in conveyor 1 to transfer raw woods to a following stage process as a mountain-high pile of raw woods 6a is collapsed from a front; a raw wood pickup conveyor 3 formed such that raw woods are converted into raw woods 6c in a transfer format, where raw woods are picked up one by one to inverted chevron shaped raw wood determent members 2a and 2b, disposed in the vicinity of the terminal of the raw wood carry-in conveyor 1, from raw woods 6b in a frontmost line collapsed approximately in one line in a state to point obliquely downward and an accurate gap between the adjoining raw wood is provided, and the raw woods are intermittently delivered to a subsequent stage process and coupling members 3e, such as pipes, are coupled in a ladder-form manner to chains 3a and 3b with a claw on both sides; and a raw wood carry-out conveyor 4 formed such that raw woods 6d intermittently delivered from the raw wood pick-up conveyor 3 are transferred, in order, to a subsequent stage process.
