Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely guide a filling seedling to the cell where a seedling lacks of an inspection/removal tray and to accurately and tightly attach the root part to a cell bottom part. SOLUTION: This seedling filling device 10 is provided with a supply part 12 capable of mounting a cell tray 16 provided with many cells where the seedlings 17 for filling are planted and an inspection/removal part capable of mounting the cell tray 18 provided with many cells 18a where the seedlings 19 for inspection/removal are planted. The lacking of the seedling on the cell tray 18 in the inspection/removal part is detected, the culture soil of the cell of a detected seedling lacking part is sucked and removed by a vacuum nozzle, a new seedling 17 for filling is transferred from the cell of the supply part 12 to the cell where the culture soil is removed, the seedling 17 is dropped from a seedling dropping port 50 at the upper part of the vacuum nozzle for a prescribed elevation difference by gravity and is filled to the cell of the lacking part.
